Natascha Bell WIP 1/8: outlines and first layers of color

Natascha Bell WIP 2/8: I'm beginning to smooth out the red layer to create a full, rich red priming for the hair.

Natascha Bell WIP 3/8: With the red priming in place, I add the basic dreadlock structure

Natascha Bell WIP 4/8: drawing hair. I've also created the iris pattern and more shading to the face.

Natascha Bell WIP 5/8: More shading, working on the eye shadows and the lashes

Natascha Bell WIP 6/8: The eyes are usually the part of the drawing that have to feature the greatest detail

Natascha Bell WIP 7/8: Even more detail to the eyes. I've also finished the teeth and tongue.

Natascha Bell WIP 8/8: Final touches. I've blurred the edges further down her body to represent the depth of field.
