It's been a busy couple of month in the demoscene. I've recently joined the legendary group Censor Design, and we did a demo together with the equally legendary group Fairlight.

I've taken part in several music competitions, which some nice results:

• #1 and #3 at the CSDb $11 Compo for the songs I made together with my friend Jeroen Tel
• #5 at the same competition for my track Mellowhouse
• #2 at the Revision Oldskool Music Competition (Worlds biggest demoscene party held in Saarbrücken) for Could be Cool
• #1 at the CSDb Nonstandard Time Signature competition 2018

Another coop for the $11 triangle wave music competition between Jeroen Tel and me. The idea was to compose a song around the famous Skype ringtone.

Here's my contribution for the Nonstandard Time Signature Competition 2018 held at CSDb.

Here's my personal entry for the $11 wave music competition. Apart from the usual limitations of doing music on the c64, the rules of this competition state that only the triangle waveform may be used for the song. The triangle waveform is a very soft sound, so it was challenging to create punchy and treble instruments with it.

In December, I was guest at SLAY Radio for the show Pre-Christmas with Master LMan, hosted by ziona and Slaygon.

Dear friends, I've decided on starting a blog on my website, with the occasional entry.

During a period from 2011 to 2014 I have been very active with my portraiture, from 2015 onwards I have shifted my focus towards creating music. Especially in the c64 demoscene I've won some acclaim as a musician, which led me to be invited to join legendary artist collective groups like MultiStyle Labs, Oxyron and Maniacs of Noise.

In this blog I'll occassionally post info about new releases, new artistic endeavours, or just random thoughts.

This is not a c64, but an Amiga tune for a change. It's a ProTracker mod, made completely out of unmodified sounds from the ST-01 sound disk, that was shipped with the original Soundtracker in 1987.

Remake of the title tune of Giana Sisters for the Nintendo DS, released 2009. The tune was composed and arranged by Fabian del Priore aka Rapture, and is itself a cover of Chris Hülsbeck's original Giana Sisters Title Theme. The screen was hand-pixelled by me, based on Alex Pikomi Pierschel's original artwork.

Here's some summer house music for you! This track was made using the Amiga .mod format. It is a Protracker compatible tune, only 368 kb in size. Released at Evoke demoparty 2016.

The sunny track is dedicated to my wife Natascha, aka Sunflower, who provided the vocals for the song, and who is also the girl on the cover. 😊
